How it works
Browse real local events, no sign-up
Come Alone lists about 2,500+ upcoming events across 434 cities. Open a city page, scroll the list and click through to the organiser's own page. There is nothing to install and no profile to make. If you want to see who else is going, the Meet & Mint app is optional.
Every listing is chosen because it is easy to join on your own: talks, walks, concerts, workshops, markets and other open events where nobody expects you to arrive with a group.

Calendar subscriptions
Follow a city with an .ics calendar feed
An .ics feed is a calendar address your calendar app checks for new events. You do not create an account with us, we never see who subscribes.
- One city:
https://comealone.app/feed/v1/ics/<city>.ics, for example/feed/v1/ics/lisbon.ics. - Every city:
/feed/v1/ics/all.ics. - One kind of event across all cities:
culture,learning,music,outdoors,social.
- Copy the feed address.
- In Apple Calendar choose File, New Calendar Subscription. In Google Calendar choose Other calendars, From URL. In Outlook choose Add calendar, Subscribe from web.
- Paste the address. New events appear on their own; calendar apps refresh on their own schedule, so it can take a while.
Developers can also use JSON and RSS, see the feed docs.
Your first time
How to pick a first event alone
- Pick an event with an activity, so you have something to look at and talk about.
- Prefer free or low-cost events, so leaving early costs nothing.
- Go at a quiet time of day or week if crowds make you tense.
- Decide in advance how long you will stay, and one small thing to do, such as asking one person a question.
- Check the official page for time and place the same day.
Looking for something more specific? Try walk & talk, book clubs, run clubs or game nights. Comparing options? See our Timeleft alternative page.
FAQ
Quick answers
Do I need an account to see events on Come Alone?
No. The event lists, city pages and calendar feeds are open to everyone. There is no sign-up, login or email gate to browse.
How do I add Come Alone events to my phone calendar?
Copy the address of a calendar feed, for example https://comealone.app/feed/v1/ics/madrid.ics, and use "subscribe to calendar" or "add calendar from URL" in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook. The calendar then updates itself from the feed.
Which calendar feeds are available?
One feed per city (69 cities have one), a feed for all cities at /feed/v1/ics/all.ics, and 5 category feeds (Culture, Learning, Music, Outdoors, Social) under /feed/v1/ics/category/.
Are the events free?
Many are free, and each event card says so when it is. Some have a ticket or a fee set by the organiser. Always check the official page linked on the event.
How do I pick a first event if I do not know anyone?
Choose something with a built-in activity such as a talk, a walk, a workshop or a music night. Arrive a few minutes early and set a time limit for yourself, for example one hour. People mostly look at the activity, not at who came alone.
Where do the events come from?
They are summarised in our own words from city open data and official agendas. Times and details can change, so check the official page before you go.
