Host a walk & talk

No walk near you? Start one in a minute.

Create a free invite, share the link, and the people who say yes meet you at the start. This is the whole host kit:

  1. One easy meeting point — a station exit, a statue or a park gate anyone can find.
  2. 60–90 minutes, start and end time in the invite.
  3. A loop route so nobody is stranded at the far end.
  4. Finish at a café — the talk often continues sitting down.
  5. Walk at a pace for talking: if someone is out of breath, slow down.

Questions people ask

Is it awkward to join a walk alone?

No — walks are the easiest event to join alone. You walk side by side, so nobody has to hold eye contact, there is always something to point at, and you can drift between people. Arrive five minutes early and say hi to the guide.

Are these walks free?

Many are: city guided tours, park rambles and hiking clubs are often free or a few euros. Each card shows a Free tag when the listing says so; confirm on the official page before you go.

How fit do I need to be?

City strolls and guided tours are gentle, usually 1–2 hours at a slow pace. Hikes list distance and difficulty on the official page — pick a short one for your first time and bring water and good shoes.
