Le Kiwi

The eighth Fête du Kiwi, the annual party of Ramonville's youth and culture centre just south of Toulouse, goes back to the 1980s: Walkmans, high-waisted jeans and the wind of change. From 16:30 the bar, photo booth, games and candyfloss stall open; at 17:00 Bruno Loto and The Coccinelle's, in sequinned jackets over aerobics gear, run a kitsch loto with live electric guitar and synths, and the evening rolls on into a disco ball. Le Cirque Penché takes you on a concert without a safety net: lively, vibrant French chanson by artists who are not afraid to walk the wire. The band took its first steps on stage in 2016, and since 2022 Anne-Lise's accordion, Jeremy's bass, Thierry's drums and Julien's guitar and vocals have created an intimate, effervescent and always warm atmosphere. They play their own compositions. At the Marins d'eau douce venue in Ramonville, on the Canal du Midi south-east of Toulouse.
