Come Alone by Meet & Mint Events you can go to on your own

62 sessions · 29 cities

Fourth Player. The court is waiting for you.

Padel and pickleball are doubles games, so every court is one player short of a match. Open play, americanos (rotating partners) and beginner sessions that you can join alone — hand-checked on club pages, with the date we checked each one.

How it works

Alone at an americano: how it works

An americano is a social format where you change partners every round, so nobody needs to arrive with a pair and you play with and against everyone. Levels are mixed, and the organiser usually matches rounds so that games stay close. Arrive about 10 minutes early so you can pay, meet the organiser and warm up. Tell the organiser your level honestly (or say it is your first time) and they will seat you accordingly.

  1. Find a session below, open the official page and check the date, level and price.
  2. Book or turn up as the page says — many clubs need a sign-up even for open play.
  3. Come alone: bring sports shoes; rackets and balls can often be rented or borrowed.
  4. Meet people in Meet & Mint before or after, and plan the next game together.

Questions people ask

Can I play padel or pickleball alone?

Yes. Both are doubles games, so clubs run open play, americanos and beginner sessions where players are matched on the spot. Come alone, say your level, and the organiser pairs you up.

What is an americano?

A social tournament where partners rotate every round. You play with and against everyone, levels are mixed, and nobody needs a fixed partner.

Do I need my own racket?

Usually not. Many clubs rent or lend rackets and balls for beginner sessions; the official page of each session says what to bring.

How current are these listings?

Each session shows the date we checked it. 6 of 62 rows were seen only in search results because the club page was unreachable; they are labelled unconfirmed, so verify on the club site before travelling.
