Femmm vocal jazz group, Igartza Musika cycle, Beasain

Conjunto Monumental de Igartza

On Sunday evening the Igartza Musika cycle in Beasain, in the Goierri valley of Gipuzkoa, welcomes Femmm, a vocal group led by four young women. They describe the project as a laboratory of voices, born from a gap they felt in formal music training, and it looks for harmonies and colours somewhere between jazz and pop. Part of the repertoire is a cappella, while live they are joined by a pianist, a double bassist and a drummer. Since their debut in March 2024 they have played at the jazz festivals of San Sebastián, Getxo and Vitoria-Gasteiz. The concert takes place at the Conjunto Monumental de Igartza, starts at 19:00 and is free; the listing names several languages, including Basque. No end time is given, so we have assumed about an hour and a quarter. «Ciclo Igartza Musika 2026: Femmm» Starts 19:00, ends about 20:15. Free vocal and guitar concert Bihotz bat, Beasain parish church

Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción

On Sunday 13 December the parish church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción in Beasain, in the Goierri valley of Gipuzkoa, hosts a free concert called Bihotz bat, which means One heart in Basque. It is part of the Igartza Musika 2026 cycle. The professional vocal group KEA, directed by Enrique Azurza, joins forces with the internationally known guitarist Marco Socias in a project that remembers the legacy of the composer Pablo Sorozábal, one of the best-known figures of Basque and Spanish light opera and zarzuela. The Kulturklik listing, which takes its information from the Beasain town council website, gives the language as Basque, the price as free and the start time as 19:00. A voices-and-guitar programme inside a parish church is a calm, atmospheric way to spend a Sunday evening in December, in a town where many of the audience will know one another. You can come alone and enjoy the music in a quiet setting. The concert starts at 19:00 and ends at about 20:15. «Ciclo Igartza Musika 2026: “Bihotz bat”» Starts 19:00, ends about 20:15.
