Poetry book launch, Katakrak bookshop, Pamplona

Katakrak Liburuak

On Wednesday evening 9 December the bookshop Katakrak on Calle Mayor in Pamplona holds the presentation of a poetry collection by the writer Xabier Etxarri, Buscando en las cenizas huellas. The synopsis describes a poem as an intuition, a glimpse of something captured in a sketch of words that sets off another intuition in the reader. The poems, it says, grow from an old rural world hidden in the cracks of time, from solitude and its rituals, from aching music, from wild and serene nature and from endless nostalgia. Entry is free and the language is Spanish. The listing gives no end time, so we assume the evening ends around 20:30. It starts at 19:00. What kinds of events can I find in Pamplona?

Right now: music (17), culture (15), learning (2). Common venues are Teatro Gayarre, Auditorio Baluarte, Txintxarri Aretoa.

Is it OK to go to an event in Pamplona alone?

Yes, that is the point of this list. We pick talks, concerts, walks, language cafés and workshops where many people arrive on their own and there is a natural moment to start talking. Nobody checks whether you came with a friend.

How do I find out who else is going?

Many of these events are also in the Meet & Mint app, where every event has its own chat and you can join alone. If one is not there yet, tap "+" in the app to add it and gather a group to go together.
