Born more than ten years ago in a writing workshop at a medical-educational institute near Paris, Astéréotypie has become a genuine stage band: noise, electronics, spoken word and catchy melodies, with lyrics by Claire, Stan, Yohann and Aurélien that swing from memory to rant with total freedom. Their cult chorus about Brad Pitt and the Drôme is hard to forget. Support act No Sport opens a Friday-night double bill at the Théâtre Onyx.
