Halloween alone in your city

How it works

Three small moves for a good night out alone

  1. Pick one event with a clear start time and a host — a guided walk or a screening is easier than a crowded bar.
  2. Get ten phrases in the local language for that exact evening with Phrases for tonight, and practise the first one on the way.
  3. Open Meet & Mint to see who else is going, say hi in the group chat, and meet at the door. Nobody to go with this time? Create a free invite — the Halloween-for-newcomers template is ready.

Questions people ask

Is it weird to go to a Halloween event alone?

No. Walks, film nights, markets and open parties are easy to join alone: people talk in queues, at the bar and during breaks. Arrive early and tell one person it's your first time.

Do I need a costume?

Almost never. A small touch is plenty. Costume balls say so on their official page.

Are these events free?

Most are free or under €15. Each card shows it; always confirm on the official page.
