Free gospel concert by Samaria Gospel Singers, Berriz

On Sunday 27 December at 17:00 the church of Berriz, a small town in Bizkaia, hosts a free concert by the Samaria Gospel Singers. The Kulturklik listing, which takes its information from the Berriz town council, describes a powerful, dynamic and emotional style that has made the group one of the most prominent gospel formations of the moment. It is led by the singer and director Inés Goñi, and the repertoire draws on classic gospel while adding new influences that bring freshness and depth to each concert. On stage, the listing says, the connection with the audience is immediate and creates a warm, close and festive atmosphere, which is why a gospel concert is such a natural fit for the days between Christmas and New Year. The language of the page is given as English and the price as free. A joyful evening in a village church is an easy way to meet local people.
