«Operetta»: opera sung with no orchestra by Cor de Teatre, Cintruénigo
A porter unloads a piano on an abandoned stage and out of it step stagehands, tailors, directors and actors, who act out sketches to the most famous arias, overtures and choruses: an impossible film shoot of the Traviata toast, a Tour de France pedalled to the Barber of Seville. There is no orchestra at all, just the excellent voices of the Catalan company Cor de Teatre, which also carry the harmony. Funny and easy to follow without Spanish. Tickets 12 euros; the end time is not published, about an hour and a half is likely. «"Operetta"» Starts 18:00, ends about 19:30.
