New Year's Eve alone in Ermua: low-pressure plans

The honest number. In a survey of 3,000 Americans run by Sunny and reported by the New York Post (December 2025), only 24% wanted to celebrate New Year’s Eve with other people, 35% planned to stream a show and 20% to go to bed early; 36% of Gen Z wanted to go out. It is one US survey, not a measure of your city, but it matches what this page does: it does not push a midnight club. Source ↗

New Year's Eve plan — Ermua
Thursday 31 December 2026

1. Early evening, before 21:00
Nothing listed in our data for Ermua yet. Pick one thing with a fixed start and a fixed end: a table booked for one, a film, a game night, a concert. Buy or book it before 31 December and put the start time in your calendar.

2. Midnight among people
Nothing listed in our data for Ermua yet. If your city has a public countdown or fireworks, check the city's official page for the place and time, arrive about 45 minutes early, stand near the edge of the crowd and decide how you get home before you go. If you would rather be home by midnight, that is also a plan.

3. New Year’s Day morning, Friday 1 January
Nothing listed in our data for Ermua yet. Late morning, first walk of the year: a short loop you like, a coffee at the end. If you want company, check whether a local walking, running or swimming group meets on 1 January.

Leave by: 22:30. Pick the route home now, not at 22:30.
Tell one person where you will be and when you will message them that you are home.

Madness: A Cappella Musical Comedy by Yllana and Primital Brothers

Ermua Antzokia

Comedy company Yllana and the a cappella group Primital Brothers join forces for Madness, a musical comedy about life on the margins of the system, mixing physical humour with close-harmony singing. It is performed in Spanish at the municipal theatre. Tickets cost 12 €, and a laugh-out-loud show is a relaxed thing to attend solo.

Early evening, before 21:00. A table booked for one, a film, a game night, a concert with a printed start time. Home before the loud part.
Midnight among people. A public countdown or fireworks where nobody expects you to talk. Arrive early, stand near the edge, decide the way home before you go.
The first morning. Skip the night, set an alarm for 1 January: a walk, a swim or brunch, with a start time.
