Glöckler run with glowing caps on the village square, Strobl
On the eve of Epiphany, the last of the winter 'Rauhnächte', the Glöckler of Strobl walk through the dark in white robes with bells at the waist and tall, finely cut caps lit from inside. From 16:00 they go from house to house around the municipality; from 18:00 they dance their circles, spirals and figures of eight on the village square. Just stand at the roadside and watch; free. The end is not published, so plan on about two hours on the square. They run again on 6 January. «Glöcklerlauf in Strobl» Starts 16:00, ends about 20:00.
