Persepolis film screening, Resistance Museum, Toulouse
On Wednesday 30 December the departmental Museum of the Resistance and Deportation in Toulouse, on allée des Demoiselles, shows the animated film Persepolis in a screening with a snack. The 97-minute French film of 2007, by Vincent Paronnaud and Marjane Satrapi, follows Marjane as she prepares to fly back to her native city and remembers her past, plunging into the difficult and chaotic history of Iran through war, repression and dictatorship. The museum recommends it from the age of eleven. Entry is free, subject to the number of places available, and no booking is mentioned. The announcement is in French. The screening starts at 15:00 and ends at about 16:30, an easy afternoon outing that works equally well if you come alone and want to discuss the film afterwards. «Persepolis» Starts 15:00, ends about 16:30.
